We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who participated in our 2nd Annual De-FEET Breast Cancer 5K Run/Walk!!

Overall, Thank You to everyone who supported our 5K by participating, donating, fundraising, sponsoring, volunteering, helping plan and anyone involved in what was a hugely successful event!

A total of 1134 registrants were part of the event, and well over 1,300 people were on site at the 5K!

It was a truly amazing day with so many participants and spectators, great on-site business vendors, amazing weather, and a fun and special Post-5K Celebration - including an unlimited family & friends BBQ, great music by DJ Funkmaster Dex, individual & team awards, our Survivor Thrive Grant Program ceremony, a special Survivor/Memorial Dedication, and amazing Tricky Tray raffle prizes and an iPad raffle!

We are extremely proud to announce that our breast cancer foundation raised over $35,000 in proceeds from our 2nd Annual De-FEET Breast Cancer 5K, which will help us tremendously with our foundation's programs and projects as we work towards our goal of positively impacting the breast cancer community both locally and beyond.

100% of these proceeds from the 5K will fund our ongoing breast cancer projects & programs at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, help assist breast cancer patients and their families in our community, and in addition help fund Biomedical Research in search of a cure.

At our Post-5K Celebration we were very proud to give grants of $2,500 each to two local breast cancer survivors who are in need as part of our Survivors Thrive Grant Program. Your support will continue to help programs such as this which helps make a difference in our community.

5K Registrants should have received an email from one of our great event photographers (US Candids) that the pictures they took at our 5K are up on their website!

You can order any of these photos from the site and based on the amount ordered the photographer will donate to our foundation a portion of the proceeds from the photo sales after their costs - which is amazing!
