10th Annual De-FEET Breast Cancer 5K Run/Walk POSTPONED until Spring 2021

To our 5K Registrants and Supporters,
We are very sad to announce the postponement of our 10th Annual De-FEET Breast Cancer 5K Run/Walk (which was to be held on 4/4/2020) due to the declared public health emergency put out by New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy.
It has just been announced, the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the state has prompted the Governor to recommend the cancellation of all public gatherings of more than 250 people throughout New Jersey. Our event fundraiser has always had many more than 250 individuals participating, which we truly appreciate.
All 5K registrations, fundraising, donations, and sponsorships will be simply carried over to next year's 5K which will occur in 2021 (TBD - most likely April 2021). Everything for our 5K this year will be carried over to next year. If you were registered for our 5K this year or or were a business sponsor, all registrations and sponsorships will be moved over to our 2021 5K Run/Walk (i.e., you won't need to register again if you are a registrant; if you are a sponsor, all sponsorships will go towards our 2021 5K event).
All fundraising & donations will also be moved over to next year's 5K event fundraiser including all team fundraising. When our 5K Registration opens up next year, all 5K teams and their fundraising will continue where they left off. We will let everyone know next year when 5K registration opens and everything from 2020 will simply shift over and anyone else that wants to register for our 2021 5K, for example, can do so at that time.
Please note, as with every year for our 5K Run/Walk and similar to many other events put on by charities, non-profit organizations, our local breast cancer foundation has a non-refund policy for our event. As on our 5K website (https://runsignup.com/mamamare), due to the fundraising nature of this event, refunds are not available for all completed registrations (and also for any donations towards our 5K Run/Walk event). We know this is a challenging time for everyone, and thank you very much for your understanding.
We are deeply sorry to have to postpone our event until next year, but everyone's safety is of the utmost importance. As always, your generosity, amazing efforts and support of our foundation is greatly appreciated and we cannot wait to celebrate our 10th Annual 5K Run/Walk event fundraiser with you in 2021!!!!
